An exclusive AUKUS/Industry Roundtable focused on fostering collaboration among Maritime Industrial Base (MIB) companies from across the region. This event will explore the scope of US-Australian industrial cooperation under AUKUS, highlighting the opportunities and challenges related to the development of nuclear-powered submarines.
Building on the outcome of prior events on Long Island, in New Hampshire and Groton, CT, this by invitation only roundtable will bring together industry leaders identified as "significant participants" in the Regional Industrial Base, along with Australian counterparts and representatives from VEDP. Senior representatives from Electric Boat and HII will also participate to support and engage with local MIB suppliers.
Governor Glen Younkin is tentatively slated to make remarks, along with confirmed participation by Michael Moran, Deputy Secretary for Commerce & Trade.
